Teen Camp

Bring on the Teens!

Just what every teenager is looking for - fun with friends, a place to hangout, good food, lots of things to do, unexpected craziness - all in a place that is safe and pleasing to God!

For over 50 years, The Wilds ministry has studied and invested deeply into the lives of teenagers. You could say it is one of our passions. Since 2009, The Wilds has been pleased to be able to work with the great teens from New England.

We draw from our experience to make a week of camp as good as we possibly can for teens while at the same doing everything we can to be sure a week at camp is good as it possibly can be in the eyes of God.

Fun with a Purpose

Any teen in the 7th-12th grades is invited to a week that will be unforgettable and life-changing.

Our daily schedule always includes 3 good meals in the Dining Hall, some sort of unique team competition, Freetime activities (Dodgeball, Basketball, Volleyball, etc), program activities (Zipline, Laser Tag, Archery Tag, etc), and 3 opportunities to hear or read God’s Word.

One of the highlights of the week is our Funtime presentation on Wednesday night in which our staff puts on about 60 minutes of a themed skits and songs (we are never too sure how funny it is, but the teens always seem to enjoy being together laughing and having fun).

Of course, another big highlight of the week is the Final Scoring on Friday night when we find out which team won the week!

Teaming up on the Teens

One of the unique elements of camp is the summer staff. Every summer we hire about 50 college-age staff members who partner together to serve the Lord by serving the campers.

Some of these are the counselors whose primary responsibility is the 24/7 care and protection of the campers. The counselors do everything with the campers and are there to meet both physical and spiritual needs.

The operational staff are the heroes behind the scenes washing dishes, handling registration details, keeping the campsite clean and maintained, and a myriad of other details and tasks.

This team of staff members unite together and sincerely desire to help teenagers know and love God while they themselves are growing and changing along the way.

To care and provide for the teens is a difficult and exhausting task, but our summer staff gladly give of themselves for the glory of God and the good of the teens.
