Keep Your Fork!

There is a phrase that I have heard many claim to have coined without knowing that my grandmother used at the end of a meal over 50 years ago. Simply stated she would say, “Keep your fork. The best is yet to come!”

Now, that meant either apple pie, German chocolate cake, pineapple upside down cake … I’d mention a few more specialties, but I’m getting a bit hungry.

As we get closer to the end of 2020 complete with COVID-19, masks, social distancing, and of course, the closing of summer camp, all I can say about 2021 is, “Keep your fork. The best is yet to come!”

We have our summer staff contracted, games selected, and even many of our Funtime craziness already to go. We are trusting that, if the Lord tarries, summer 2021 will be the best summer of camp in the history of The Wilds of New England where hundreds of teens and juniors will be face-to-face with dedicated lives and the preaching of the Word of God 3 times a day. That is potential for a heart-change that will last for the rest of their lives.

This of course, is all possible because we have a wonderful God who gives us friends like you who pray, give, and support the young people of New England by supporting The Wilds of New England.
