Serving an excellent God motivates us to give each camper an excellent camping experience. Striving for excellence is not easy or inexpensive. One area of our campsite that was not excellent was our ballfield. The heavy summer rains of 2021 turned our normal ballfields into unusable mud pits. They needed to be reclaimed with proper drainage, leveling, and reseeding. Now our campers can enjoy classic Tug-o-war, famous Cat in the Hat, exhilarating Allegro Fortisimo, and all kinds of other crazy camp games on this ballfield! Our campers utilize this area of the campsite each day—thank you for helping us turn an average experience into an excellent one—all to the glory of God!
Our fundraiser for cleaning up the muddy ballfields brought in just enough to get our ball field leveled, drained, de-stoned, graded, harley-raked, and hydro-seeded this fall. We are so thrilled with the final result. The grass is already coming in very nicely, and we should be ready to use it next summer!
